I always have my professional photographer handy for these kodak moments. Not really.
It was open day, I was super stressed, her camera wouldn’t connect to the app, so I smiled through my teeth and pretended the battery had died.
The app we were using was Popplet. It was one of the original awesome apps. It’s my go to app. Like a roast chicken, it’s easy and has maximum output.
The week before open day I had introduced my class to the app. We learnt how to add a popplet, how to change the colours and how to add text. I left the photo inserting for open day, I needed a little bit of “oh cool wow” factor from the girls. Their task was to find common nouns in and outside the classroom. We have a pretty school. The popplets looked pretty. I even printed them. But I won’t be telling you about that disaster of that printing lesson. Printing with 8 years olds from iPads is hard y’all.
A fun app that is versatile and I will no doubt be *smashing it with another app some time this year.
